Caribella Skincare is a locally-made, resort-based skincare brand sold in a luxury Caribbean resort in Anguilla. Inspired by the serene beauty and vibrant essence of the island, the brand offers safe, natural, and effective skincare solutions. The founder’s vision was to expand beyond the resort, offering Caribella products in more high-end hotels across the region. To achieve this, the brand needed to evolve and elevate its identity to align with the expectations of the luxury hotel market, creating a refined and sophisticated experience that resonates with discerning guests while staying true to its Caribbean roots.

PROBLEM:

Many businesses, including Caribella Skincare, struggle without a well-defined and professionally-designed brand identity. This lack of clarity can make it difficult to stand out in a competitive market, particularly for businesses relying on an emotional connection with their audience, such as those in the beauty and wellness sector. We began with an in-depth creative session to understand the founder's vision for Caribella Skincare, focusing on capturing the essence of Anguilla. Through research, we defined the target audience, market positioning, and brand personality—balancing luxury with authenticity and highlighting the brand's commitment to safe, natural skincare. This strategic foundation allowed us to create a brand identity that reflects Caribella's unique appeal to both local and tourist audiences.

VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN

We incorporated Anguilla’s national flower, the white cedar, to symbolize local beauty and craftsmanship. The color palette mirrors the Caribbean's natural hues—deep blues for serenity, sky tones for openness, and warm accents for energy and vibrancy. A blend of serif and display fonts adds elegance and modernity, with playful curves evoking ocean waves and a sense of relaxation. This cohesive design creates a high-end, memorable brand that stands out in the skincare market.
